Possible Sticky? current bike including mods.

    I figure since there are so many new topics started everyday about mods, exhaust, jet sizes, etc.. i think we should start a thread of everyones bike and engine mods and settings. if anyone has anything to my list let me know, i think this will be a good starting point for all the newbies i being on of them. remember no conversations just a list of your mods. im going to start.

    Model: 1981 Maxim Xj650h
    Exhaust: custom exhaust consisting of 1.5 pipe with washers as baffles welded after hpipe.
    Air filter: Emgo Pods 52mm
    Main Jet size: 116
    Pilot jet size: 41
    Pilot Screw turned 3turns out.
    Idle rpm: 1500

    thats all i got for now let me know if anything needs to be added to the list.

    Airfilter: 54mm AC pods in stock air box
    Main jet: 110
    pilot jet: 40
    Air jets: 36
    Pilot screw: 3.5 turns out
    Idle rpm: 1200
    Plugs: NGK BP7ES gaped to 0.8
    Plug wires: NGK 8mm silicone

    Air Filters: Emgo pods
    Main Jet: 118
    Pilot Jet: 42
    Pilot screws about 2-3/4 out. Need to finish balancing
    Idle RPM: 1200
    Plugs: NGK BP7ES
    Front Forks: Progressive springs, new fork seals
    Electrical: Mini Fuses and lawn tractor starter solenoid
    Paint: Filled in Tank Emblems, painted the fenders machine grey, to repaint all to match this winter.
    Handlebars: started with clip-ons, but due to tank interference switched back to stock. Looking towards 8-10" apes, but might do drag bar with short riser.

    Exhaust: Hi-Flo Jarrdine slip-ons
    Main jet: #126
    Pilot jet: #43
    Mixture screws: set with color tune plug
    Other mods: xj 650 gauges, drag bars and risers
    Result: If you twist the throttle you better hang on
