Rear end is really smooth 8) Personally I'm not big fan of those fairings, but I guess those are comfortable for long rides...

Looks really good. I see you took off the rear grab bar? Any reason for doing that? Also, is the fairing and belly scoop from the later XJ900F, the Diversion? My '83 XJ900 came with the smaller bikini fairing and those weird little plastic vent things that attach to the bottom of the gas tank and are supposed to direct cool air to the top of the engine. They look pretty stupid and I doubt they do anything useful.
    thx,
    baz

You know, Baz... If you really don't like those weird little vent things, I happen to know of a 900 that would love to have a pair on it. Let me know if you're looking to get rid of them!

As a 900 Owner ... Two thumbs up!
    With reservations.

First of all ... the High-top Windscreen needs to be Aerodynamically STABLE at 110 Mph. If it is ... Both Thumbs. If it ain't ... no thumb.

One automatic thumb for the Belly Pan.
I've been looking for one of them baby's on Ebay for a long time.
Somebody always stays-up and waits for the last few minutes to outbid me.

Sort of ironic that you have a big fairing to keep you out of the weather....but no rear guard so you'll get sprayed from behind 8O

I like it though - very tidy :D
