i just bought a 81' midnight maxim 650 and when i first got it the right blinkers worked but the front left wouldnt turn on and the rear left stayed on. the next day i went to ride it and realized none of the blinkers worked and also that the neutral light wouldnt come on (i dont know if that related but either way) i checked the bulbs theyre fine and i checked the fuses and they are also fine. any ideas?

check the wiring in the headlight bucket you may have some corrosion in the connectors

if you take off the gas tank theres a bunch of wires that meet in a connector on the left side near the left coil .theres 2 there but the big one has the signal wires in it.try wiggling these with the ignition and signal on.
I found corrosion at this spot on my 550
