either you have floats/needle valves stuck open or floats set too high (or both). do NOT leave the fuel shutoff set to PRI until this is fixed.

i've been told you might get lucky and can gently tap your carbs with a wooden hammer handle and they will miraculously unstick.

if you (or your friend) can remove the bowls (which it sounds like your friend already did to check the gasket) then, in theory you should be able to remove the float(s) and needles without removing the carbs.

if you have a manual, there should be a nice picture of what's going on.

although, i just realized - you should also check your carb bowl drain screws are tight - i'm not sure exactly where the gas is leaking out of - but if the drain screws are loose (or missing) that'd make you leak gas, too.

i take it the bike in question is the one pictured in your gallery?

there's a small pipe that feeds gas from one carb to the other that can leak
need to break the rack down to fix it

I like the labeling in the pic.

On to the problem - you need to take a good look and tell use where the gas is leaking from. I can think of at least 4 places that might leak - each has it's own fix.

Ya know, Rick suggested blowing baby powder to find an oil leak, maybe that would help you find the gas leak??

You need to know if it's a bowl gasket (4) , supply rail (6 "O" rings) , or if it's simply flooding and coming out the airbox. That would be floats.

I guess you could lay a big sheet of paper under the carbs to help find the drip. And this site has had at least 4 bike fires, so be careful.

i think that rules out float/needle and drains. which leaves gaskets and supply rail. assuming the gaskets are good as claimed - your leak is from the supply rail. that means pulling the carbs and taking the rack apart.

at least new o-rings are cheap.

    Make it stop leaking.
Install a Manual "Shut-Off" valve to the Petcock Output.
There is none finer than Briggs and Stratton.
    That STOPS the leak.

Once the leak is STOPPED, ...
Find it and take corrective action.

    An Inline "Shut-Off" >> Prevents:
    Flooding
    Fire
    Smell
    Crankcase filled with Gas.

With the Seca Turbo you'll need that fuel pump to keep it running right or your going to run it lean and burn it up...

You need to pull the carbs to repair/replace the carb fuel connectors(PIPE, STARTER CONNECTING in the parts diagrams).

Supposed to have a fuel pump(circled in RED). What's on it may be causing the leak if It's pumping too much pressure, but the bypass valve should send it back to the tank if it's working right.
