the new frankenbike

    here are just a few pictures of the paint job I just finished, for never having done this before I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. :D
    By the way its called Frankenbike because it was put together with a bunch of different xj parts from different bikes.

    Sweet paint! Did you use a stencil for the Franken-head? Did you make the stencil yourself? Either way, looks great!

    Where did you get the windshield and the grips? I need to get larger grips my hands will fall asleep after about 20 miles and I think the grips would help.

    believe it or not I got the grips off ebay, the windscreen I took off another xj that was destined for the scrap yard

    hey is your frame purple? its late, my eyes are tired, and it could just be my monitor.....but it looks purple. i like it either way i was just curious if you did your frame.

    Yes its purple, it came that way when I bought it, however, I'm planning to take the bike down to the frame in a year or two and when I do I'll be repainting it a pearl finish metal purple, I'm a freak that way. :D
