quick carb question

    Would 750 needles on a 650 make it leaner or richer?


    Did the engine swap and gotta retune.

    i'd say (if you have both and can compare them) that the smaller or shorter needle would cause you to run more rich.

    If you used the carbs off the 650 you will need to change to 750 main fuel jets and needles.

    The carbs were off my 750 with 42 pilots and 126 mains, swapped in the 650 motor and still running way lean def thought it be way rich...

    Have you played around with the mixture settings yet or are you still at the 'getting things right first' stage?

    Oh that's 4 turns out on the mixture screws I'm gonna double check float height again been a few months since I set it just seems so strange really though id be running rich.
