My old 4-1 system is getting more than bit rusty, and I'm looking to try and restore my '82 Seca as close to original as I can. I've given up on finding a 4-2, and the 4-1 system I ordered from Old Bike Barn was just cancelled because they realized they don't have it in stock. At least the new gaskets and manifold nuts from another place are already on their way. Any ideas where to go from here?

I actually did some more digging on BikeBandit and found some Mac systems that fit. Now I'm not sure to go 4-2 or 4-1. I'm really trying to keep the "old-school" look. The 4-1 is $30 cheaper. Gotta think about this one...

I found a great condition original exhaust on Ebay.
It's worth checking out- you never know what you might find.

I will be in the market for new exhaust as well (at some point) and I have looked around, and I actually found quite a few 4-2 and 4-1 systems on Dennis Kirk. They might be a bit pricier, but according to their website, they have quite a few of them in stock. They say that they are compatible with the Yamaha Secas so I'm assuming fit shouldn't be a problem.

I replaced my exhaust with a 4-1 Mac last year after my bike got run over in a parking lot (damaging the stock mufflers and header pipes).

I dug around, called, and emailed a lot of places. I did not find anything new and actually available in the US other than the Mac systems. There were places that listed Jardine or Vance and Hines systems, but they never actually had or could get them.

In the UK there are a couple of other brands available, including a nice, but of course pricey, all stainless steel system.
