    I have a set of carbs from my '85 Maxim X for sale. A member of the list said he wanted them then quit communicating so they are up for grabs. One has about a 3/4 inch part of the lip where it goes into the intake boot broken but it doesn't affect it's sealing. They were on the bike (running) when I bought it but I found another set with better chrome caps so I replaced the rack.

    These are from a 1985 Maxim X.

    After one buyer saying he wanted the carbs and was sending a check (never showed up and no more correspondence) and one asking for pictures, which I sent immediately and he said they looked good, He then ask me to open them up and see if the slides passed the "clunk" test. I did and they did. Now again no more correspondencem for two weeks.

    The carbs are again for sale.
