So I just got my first bike, its a xj600s seca II. The front brake master cylinder is not allowing brake fluid to flow through it to the brake line at all??? Not sure what the problem is. I was going to go ahead and take it apart to see if its just all gunked up but I am unsure how to take out the push rod and that rubber thingy around it? Also where do you get a rebuild kit??? Any help would be much appreciated.

Look for Chacal on this site for your parts.
The rubber dust cover just pulls off, but it can get set in with crud, ease around the base with a long needle, under that there is a circlip, remove that & the shaft & spring will come out, keep it all in order for reference & watch it doen't go into orbit.

k got the dust cover off and the shaft but whatever the shaft pushes down with the spring behind it wont budge from about half way down the cylinder where it is. Any recommendations on getting it out of there??? guess I found my problem.

The spring should be the last bit out, if that is out there shouldn't be anything left in there :?
