How hot does your bike run?

After like a 10 - 15 minute ride my engine is REALLY hot to the touch...

    Is that normal?

Yep, I made the dumb mistake once of trying to change my spark plugs after riding home from work one day...a couple burns on my knuckles later and I decided I won't do that again. Of course, the really hot to the touch is pretty general so I don't know hot hot we're talking exactly.

we are talking like if i was to hold my hand on there for a two seconds i'd be burned... hot enough to fry and egg....

as hot as megan fox and angelina jolie making out in a hot tub with a water temp of about 104 F inside of a valcano....

After a good ride, the block on mine is generally 300 to 320 degrees F.

Yeah man They always get super hot. Worried me at first too. Specially when I wore shorts and rode.
I'm like, "Are my legs on fire!?"
Lol, wait till I finish making my highway pegs and wear shorts. Gonna be a hot one.
What about the water cooled models. Do they get the same temp?

hmm.... my air cooled xj 1100 runs really cool. i can actually put my fingers on the cooling fins of the heads/cylinders for a couple seconds without getting burned. Compared to my water cooled Kawasaki 454 LTD it runs about half as hot i would say.
