Fork Oil! 10 wt. seems right for me but you can get it in other weights like 5 to 15 or 20 depending on how firm you want it to be. If you don't know how much to put in you can find it out by filling until it's 5.5" from the top with the fork leg fully compressed without the spring.

What year and model do you have Fonz? For most Maxim applications, factory spec is 10 weight but in practice and in general, most folks use 15 for a better feel from the front end. I switched and enjoy the firmer ride.

    Hi Fonzy,
I use Silkolene SAE 15W in both of mine (can't get 20W at the mo) - I also compressed the springs a bit more for a more stiffer suspension (used some 2p pieces at the top of the springs just under the top nuts).

Looks like you got antidive on yours - is it air assisted as well?

As for amounts - depends on the models, but approx 210-240ml per fork seems to work well for me. (Might accomodate more, but have had fork seals blow very quickly - ie: first time heavy braking - when the 'recommended' amount used, so I use 10-15% less than the manual states).
