Mistery fault on my 82' 750 seca

So, here is what happened. I started my bike guetting ready for a ride with my buddy. I let her warmed up for 10 minutes. when I took of the bike behaved like it was still cold. It was hesitant and when i give her gas no power and like it was not burning the gas. I tought it was just taking loonger to warm up. After 10 minutes we have to come back.

The first thing I did was to check the spark plugs. They were completly balck and fluffy. So I cleaned them up. and check for spark they were working fine.

The manual says that it could be a few probelms but after checking everything it lead me to a rich mixture. So inspected the carbs and the gas level was fine. I cleaned them a few month ago so the crabs are cleaned. I inspected the jets and they were fine.

I told my buddy I think i am going to install the carbs back the bike ois going to run better than ever and we will never know what happened.

Guess what? I insalled them back and the bike runs better than ever.

I would like to hear your opinion about this fault. If ever happened to you or if you know what the possible problem could be.

was the choke stuck?

 

I thought about that but not I was not. That was one of the things I checked before we returned from our really short ride!! HA!
