hmm a street legal quad. interesting, I've heard of people making their quads street legal, but this just eliminates all the work. I wonder is you put off road tires on it, it could handle the trails.

Is that thing street legal in the USA? I'm pretty sure you can't register it as a motorcycle, and it probably needs a seat belt... But it's pretty cool regardless.

That is exactly what I was going to say. $8.5K for 700lb @ 22Hp. No thanks. And it is governed for 55MpH. They say it will do 70MpH, but only off a cliff, I would bet...

Street legal or not, I'd be willing to bet you'd get a fair amount of attention from law enforcement if they saw you driving a quad down the street.

In the US any vehicle with 4 wheels is classified as a car, not a motorcycle. It would have to adhere to the same safety standards as a new car such as restraints, airbags, crash tests, etc. That is the reason why you do not see any street legal quads on the road.

As for it being street legal I say BS. Maybe in the UK but not in the us of a. On their website it says for "urban use" but I didnt see one mention of it being street legal. Kinda reminds me of those little japanese mini trucks that a bunch of people bought, only to find out that they could not be driven on the road.
