Thanks guys

Just wanted to take a minute and thank a couple people for there help and insight for a problem i was having with my 82 750 Maxim. Helmut and MN Maxim were very helpful. Thanks guys. A little recap. Mt startor clutch was slipping after the bike got warmed up and i shut it down it would,nt start and would just slip only when the bike was warmed up. When it was cold it would start right up first try every time. Come to find out it was an oil issue. When i first bought the bike from some guy on craigslist he said he had changed the oil recently so i did,nt change it. After a week or so i noticed the oil was a little low. I went to VIP and got a quart of oil designed for wet clutch and i topped it off to get the oil up to the right level. I did,nt even put a full quart in there. Come to find out the oil i put in was synthetic oil and totaly the wrong stuff. What a dumbass! lol So i drained all the oil and changed the filter to 20-50 like i was supposed to and it seemed to get better and only slipped on occasion when the bike was warm. I have since changed the oil and filter again and ran seafoam in there as well to clean it out and that seems to have fixed the problem. Bike starts right up now when it is warm. Big releif! I thought i had startor clutch issues. You guys were right on the money! Thanks again.
