Engine Guards

    For those who may be interested, i purchased a set of engine guards off of e-bay for an 81 xj550. With only a minor alteration they will work on my 83 xj750. The only difference is the lower engine bolt on the guards is off by about a half hole. There is plenty of room on the flat mounting plate to enlarge/slot the hole to fit. No other issues or obstructions. Hope this helps anyone contemplating such an addition.

    Sweet. Please post pics when done. I've got some cool engine guards that came with my XJ -- hadn't seen anything like them 'til I got it.

    Engine guards are underrated and unlike a lot of accessories I like them.
