The best way to remove the stinking airbox from the bike, since ive got the carbs removed now for cleaning, and it is not going back in.

And oh yes, the bolts that hold the little wubba manny's on came right out,

Plus im thinking about swapping out the JAP screws in the Hitachi carbs for some much better Hex head screws, if i can get them.

Well, the fact that you mentioned Hitachi carbs narrows things down a bit... but it really would be a lot easier if you told us exactly what year and model bike you're asking about.

Metric allen screws, in steel or in stainless, are available from most ACE hardware stores. You might have to go to a bigger store, or a couple of stores, though, as the smaller stores don't usually stock more than 10 of each screw size.

Streetmaster, if you are going over to pods, take an alligator saw to the airbox, if you want to reuse it you have to remove the motor.

Go through the trouble of moving the Engine a little and SAVE that AIRBOX.

Put the Airbox in a nice safe place.
    You'll have an Airbox.
Not having an Airbox and wanting one can be a problem
HAVING an Airbox and wanting one is a Beautiful Thing!

I'll give you $25.00 for it!

This is the bike tha it'll wiggle out of. Remove the clutch cable bracket.
There's even a video by Marko (I think).
    Save or sell the airbox.

I don't know where it is, but there is a video that shows how to take it out and put it back if you have the carbs out. SAVE THE AIRBOX.
