I have been looking for crash bars for my '82 XJ1100, mainly to have something to mount some highway pegs too. I found a set on EBAY from a '79 XS1100, will they work without needing to be modified?

They will, the XJ1100 and the XS1100's have a almost identical engine/frame mounts.

    Joe,
I got bars for my '82 750 from JCWhitney. Two point mount and good quality. Mounted without any mods. Not sure what size bike you have.
