I have an R6 front wheel that matches but it will not fit the Maxim forks, R6 forks are spendy and not in the cards at this time. I will paint the front wheel black though and both will get a red pin stripe.

Looks good. Is that jackshaft going on the swingarm pivot? Is it built onto a swingarm spacer?

Thanx, yes the jackshaft is going on the swingarm pivot. I had it all set but need to move it back about a 1/8-1/4 inch to take slack out of the front chain. no adjustment.

Never thought of that, possibly, although I already started to modify it.

Is the piece you're welding the sprockets to going to double as a spacer? If so will it still be able to spin freely once the swingarm pivot is torqued down?

No, Im using the original swingarm pivot for the jackshaft and welding on a new pivot for the new swingarm. I'll try and get some more pics tonight.

What happens when the chain stretches?

Replace it. There isn't much chain there to stretch, the other thing is being that its so short it may wear faster.

OK camera was the same as my old one. Anyway this is a lot harder than I thought it would be, I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you want to pull your hair out. I'm no bike builder or designer by any means, made many mistakes and I'm sure I'll make many more.

Lol thats funny cuz I was thinkin the same thing, thought about a Bat symbol on the tank, then some velocity stacks between the seat and rear wheel like the old skool Batmoble.
