Here are a couple of pictures (before/after) of what I’ve been doing this summer, besides putting 1K miles on our Vmax in Colorado, 4 trips up there, leaving Sun to bring the 5th wheel home, Vmax is already home with a missing licenses plate (don’t like those axle mounted plates at all $$$).

When I bought it it ran on 2, note the 4X1 blue pipes.
The petcock leaked into the Carbs, all needles leaked (except maybe #3 the float did not ever touch the needle) = 1 qt gas in crankcase and 4 fouled plugs.

I installed new jets for the 4X1 and the K&N drop in (see todo list below) when I rebuilt the Carbs, still a little lean so I’ll install the next size up jets I bought JUST in case.
If the OEM filter doesn’t help.

    No front brake
I’m not sure what was in the master cylinder/wheel cylinders but it looked like tar, maybe the rubber hoses?
Never did get the master cylinder to work that little bitty hole was/is FULL of tar, brake/cab cleaner, wire, air NO HELP! = handle bar mounted MS which has a mount for the mirror, the hole on the right control was stripped (by one of the PO’s), funny how those left handed treads will cause that.
I really like and recommend stainless steal lines!
I can make it moan with 3 fingers, speaking of tires, the D404 are ok.

    No lights
Contact cleaner/dielectric grease for EVERY connector solved the lights but not the horns,
they kind of made a moa-oa-oaning sound.

    ToDo list (winter)

OEM air filter, adj valves, round headlight, clean and polish shiny parts.

    Want ToDo list (next year?)
Remove the lumps, bumps and stick on emblems, paint.

    Sorry
but the 4X1 was why I bought this 750 instead of a couple of others I was looking at.

There is only 1 motor that sounds better than a UJM with a 4 into 1.

Love those widow-makers. The H2 was the gnarliest, hardest hitting bike in existence. It is the sound I like to think god makes when he smites people with lightening bolts. Righteous. Righteous, indeed.
