Great pic! Ever had the front end leave the ground when it is parked and loaded with all your gear? Dude! You can leave the big screen at home! (Shut up Ken! I don't want to hear it!) :)

Looks like it was a great day to ride. Clear blue skies and moderate temps! we are settling in for a week of rain here. Ahhhh, fall in the Pacific Northwest!

    Enjoy!

Nice lookin machine! I loaded mine down with a couple of saddle bags and a large bag sittin on the back seat about a week ago and took it down to AZ to see the kids. I wasn't loaded near as much as I've seen Loren but, his Beemer has a back patio with a camp kitchen in it  Been a great trip so far! Only bad parts were the North LA traffic! Keep yer knees in the breeze :D

    Cheers
    Ken

My collapsible soft cooler holds 2 half-gallons and a dozen donuts perfectly.

We got back just in time.
Storm let loose when I was about 30 minutes from home, so I had to stop and put my rain gear on.
Then yesterday it got so windy i had a hard time keeping the car on the road.
Last night it got so cold I was almost expecting to see s_ _w on the ground when I woke up this morning!
(didn't want to use that nasty 4 letter word)

'83 Seca 550; original paint and graphics. The turn signals, recontoured seat, 150-mph speedo, floating-rotor disc and stainless lines, fork boots, mirrors and luggage rack are the only real "non-stock" items. I blacked out a bunch more stuff than original (rear brake, sprocket, carb hats, various hardware) and had all the chrome (except the exhaust) re-plated in black nickel. As soon as I can get a full graphics set (working on it) it's getting repainted, the black is actually full of uglies. Then it will finally be (almost) done. I still want to fit an electronic tach and an oil cooler from an FJ600.

Ken, I knew it! Just couldn't let it go could ya???!!! LOL

Sounds like you had (are having) a great trip to AZ. Must have been extra satisfying for you after the engine work you did. You have a great looking ride and you deserve to be proud of it.

Here is the bag I usually have on the back of it.
I only use the other one for longer trips!
