hey i found a guy manufacturing those in wisconsin have to look through my emails and find his name again. they look ok but not facctory lookin. they are hand made i believe and fit into a non screw in battery. push in type will owrk. if ya need a link PM me and i will go throught he mails and get it to ya

A little bit late with responding, but I ordered some parts from Len and everything went smoother then I could have imagined. Len helped me get everything in needed, and things were at my door within a week of me ordering/sending payment (I'm up in Canada so was estatic with the turn around time).

hi looking for the wire loom for a xj700, do you have one? if so howmuch to ship to the uk?

 

Parts got to my door in 3 days and I got to fire up my Seca again today for the first time in a while.

Screw-on oil filter conversion kit was simple to install and so far seems to be working great. Chacal: Did you design the parts yourself and place orders with a machine shop? It's a pretty slick design... those slots for the special tool are a bit weak but they have to be there... I'm glad there was a warning and I would say following the torque specs would be very helpful. Overall, a great product and will make my life easier in the long run with the bike!

Just wanted to say "THANKS" to Len for my most recent order!

I bought a complete coil setup for SWMBO's XJ650 Maxim.

Len was very quick to get me the info and pricing I needed.

I placed my order on Wednesday and got it Friday; that's 3 DAYS from payment to front door delivery to Texas! WOW!

The parts were packaged nicely and securely. Len sells only top notch quality parts!

I ordered parts from you on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 for a customer's machine I'm working on. You had all of the parts and special tools I needed in stock, and you shipped them immediately the same day. Today is Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2009 and I received the order this afternoon. The order is complete, with everything I ordered, and the components appear to be of high quality and they arrived in excellent condition.

Ordered my Spin on filter adapter kit for my 1983 xj750 on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009 and recieved it in the mail on Saturday Sept. 26. 2009.
I had to grind off the bolt on the housing to take off the original filter,
but the adapter kit went on easy.
Len answers my e-mails also.

Holy smokin' super fast shipping Len,

Parts sent on the 19th, received on the 25th, up here in Ottawa, Ontario..... i took a personal day off work friday, sitting around playing with my 15 month old and ding dong at the door, there is a package, first response was no way... couldn't be.... but oh it was.... i was hoping to get it by this coming friday and start working on the bike this saturday, well, now i have almost everything in place, and by this saturday i should have the tune up done... Thanks Len

Oh and for those fellow northern riders..... i checked with 3 local parts shops for prices (sorry Len, had to check) and found out that even with the US to CAD currency exchange rates and the 18% duty tax that MAY be added at customs, Len's (Chacal) price beat them by $20-$30CAD. For me customs was kind and didn't tag me for anything....

So for anyone reading this.... I will be doing all my future ordering thru Chacal....

Great service from the Man! I dunno where he sources his stuff but the quality is great and service is fast! Ordered 30 Sep arrived in Australia 7 October! If only all the other bike web sites had a Chacal!! 8)
