how many miles do you ride a week?
I know I could ask most Harley owners this and get an answer of 40, maybe 50, a week. :p

as for everyone here, what is your weekly tally?

Mine is roughly 300 a week now. I started slow, but as the bike ran better and I started to trust it more, I am pushing what I am now

I ride 12 miles a day to/from work, plus I get out one night a week and one day ride a week. each one is about 2 hours. Those are just my solo "get away from things" rides.
I am working with some friends to go on rides later this month and september for some charity rides.

I average 200 miles a week during the nice weather months. Not quite that much in the cooler months. But I seem to be averaging 5000 miles a year.

I ride as many miles as the wife lets me
    :D

actually, she is pretty lenient when I want to get on the bike and ride.

You all suck!!!!! JK I am glad someone is getting some riding in. Between weather and surgery on my elbow, I have a grand total of almost 150 miles on the bike this year!!! I am still having trouble straightening my elbow completely, but I WILL ride again.

I know I will be able to do my part for Bill's Get Well Relay at the minimum!!

My round-trip commute is just over 120 miles, and I try to ride to work at least two if not three days a week. So that's 240-360 there.
On weekends, I only use the car when necessary, which is why my "unfinished" project bike just turned 1K on its brand new odo yesterday.

So probably at least around 500 a week.

I would love to have the long commute. I considered moving out to the middle of nowhere just to get a nice long ride everyday

Geez Fitz! My nightly commute is about the same as yours. NOT!!! My daily commute is just under 12 miles per day and since I only work 3 days a week I can't even get 20 miles a week into a commute. I make up for it on my off days. I have 6 day trips so far this summer of just over 500 miles each. I have put on just over 6000 miles so far this summer.

    Wow, 40 - 50 miles on a Harley? That's a LOT of pushing!!:)

My daily commute is 65 miles round-trip. Do that 5 days a week, rain or shine. Plus rides on the weekends, sometimes in the evenings, about 50 more miles. So, I'd say about 375 - 400. Put 3500 miles on her since I bought her end of April.

I've done the 100 mile round trip comute .It sucks weather you are in a car or on the bike. Right now it is 30 miles round trip, that is not bad. I'll sitck with the short ride to work, leaves more time for play.

It beats being unemployed. Had enough of that to last a lifetime, the long commute was a no-brainer.

    the irony to this...

I was at the gas station with the family (not on the bike :) ) and a guy rolls up in his truck pulling his harley to sturgis....
    made my laugh pretty hard.

my round trip is 32 miles. for about 150-160 a week. last year was my first year and i put on about 5,000. i rode no matter what. this year's kinda off i think i've got about 250-300 total. and unfortunatly with car trouble today the bike's gotta go to get another car.(it's to hard to fit both car seats and a diaper bag on the bike, lol)

My commute is 85 miles round trip, I usually get up at 5am just so I can get an hour ride in besides that, I average about 175 miles a day. Weekends I ride a few hundred on top of that. I ride rain or shine and in Mi. I sometimes ride it the winter.

If I had a working speedometer, then I would also have a running odometer and I could tell you how much I usually ride. But my ride in to work is about 15 miles and I do that 5 to 6 days a week if it isn't pouring rain and storming. Plus I ride every where I can outside of work.

Under normal conditions I'd be riding 200 - 300 miles a week. I have a 46 mile round trip commute to work and I'd normally ride there 3 days a week on average, from about May through Sept. Then with after work and week end rides I could easily do 300 mi. / wk.
Unfortunenatly this year has not been under "normal" conditions. For most of the moth of July it has rained constantly and the temps have been downright cold in the mornings. Some mornings it's only been in the low 40's. Highly unusual for July in my neck of the woods. Then I was having a problem with my bike starting so that put the kibash on riding for a while.
Hopefully August will turn out better. Bike is fixed and all I need now is for the weather to cooperate. I hope I'm not disappointed.

I've been riding my XS11 Special 55mi a day round trip work commute for the last 2-3 weeks. So at 275mi a week and another 60 on the weekend, I'm right at 335mi/week. 75% of it on the freeway.

    After all those non-riding Harley comments,y'all aren't gonna believe this,but when I had my Harley (till last Nov) I rode 140 mi/day,5 days/wk,just to work.That's a 700 mi/wk commute 8O ,plus usually a few hundred mi/weekend just joyriding.That was rain or shine,about 6 or 7 months/yr.
The first winter I had it,I'd still go on 1-200 mi trips on weekends if it was 20 deg or more,w/o any special winter riding gear. That was just because it had been several years since I had a bike,so the renewed thrill made me extra tough/stupid.Now in the winter I just ride 10-20 mi every 2 or 3 weeks, just because I believe sitting does a lot of damage to vehicles.
At my last house,i had a 45'x90' garage,so when there was too much ice or snow on the road,I'd ride around in circles in there, and that was with 4 cars in it :p .
Sadly,I've hardly done any riding this year, just too many projects going on.Seems like I'm in the middle of a million things at the same time, every second, month after month, and still never seem to get anything done  .

I've put 2600 mile on my hell-bitch over the last few months, I still bite my nails and stare at her on days I can't get on the road. Stinking yard, and children expecting food and water and heat. Everyday they want these things!!!!!!! It's Just Crazy!!!!!!!!!

7000 miles since May 18th. I commute back and forth to work daily (6 miles RT). The rest is all pleasure!
