you can get them at any Home Depot or most hardware stores. I definitely wouldn't suggest on riding on them though. I'm just using them for mock up

So I finally got the bar mounts today. Mounted them along with my 1 1/8" ProTaper bars. Had a friend attempt to clear the tank. Bad Idea! Ohh well I decided on actually painting it. I need a pair of fenders. any ideas? I'd also like to get another tank as mine has some rust in it. again any ideas?

So the guy who owns the bodyshop next door to my shop offered to make my seat today so I let him. He used the stock pan, foam and cover. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me, although for a rigid it looks a little on the thin side, may be hard on the rear end

If the 650 and 750 left hand controls are the same, I may have one. Just need to check in the basement. You can have it just mail me back the postage.

i'm using a 70's triumph rear fender cut down on the back of my bobber, it fits nice, the one i had on when it was a soft tail was a cut down trailer guard, cheep and effective

it's lookin good man! I agree though on the seat. You will want a spring loaded or more padding for a rigid.

You can easily clean any tank with a little Muratic acid mixed with a decent amount of water. Blow it out with shop air and put gas in it immediatly so it wont flash rust. Or even better than shop air, rinse it out with gas and throw the 'rinse gas' away. Dont have your pet cock on there when you do it either, the acid will kill it. Use a rubber plug or something.

I picked up a 70's yamaha scooter speedo on ebay for 10 bucks. it only goes to 80 mph, which I dont mind but it is small about 2" to 2.25" diameter and doesnt have anything else but a back light on it.

It looks like the speedo is sitting in the headlight! That would be pretty cool.
