Oh, forgot to mention, I "THINK" I found my oil leak....

    With everything else thats going on with this bike, I think I did find my oil leak. I suspected the cam chain tensioner, so I went ahead and removed it when I had the carbs off yesterday. Found that the top half of the gasket was totally missing!! Yeap, could definately be a leak.. I fixed it and installed everything, unfortunately I could not get the leak to show before unless I ran the bike up to speed going down the road.. Now with my carbs messed up and tore apart in pieces on the work bench, not going to be able to road test it for a while... But hopefully we got the oil leak fixed... one down, several more to go...

    Glad to hear that. I had been wondering if you found it. I have not had much luck with mine. So that makes one Yamaharley down one more to go.

    Well, I cant gaurantee I found the only leak cause I havent been able to test ride the bike with the carbs pulled apart... but I do know it had to be leaking with half the gasket missing.. LOL
