Got a set o carbs with the idle mixture screws covered over. Any suggestions on how to get that stuff off without ruining the screw under it?

Re: removing covered idle mixture screws

Take about a #30 drill and drill thru the cap. Do not get to happy with the pressure or when you brake thru you will screw up the mixture adjustment screw. After you have the small hole screw in a small sheet metal or dry wall screw until you have a decent purchase. Then grab the trusty vice grips and get a hold of the screw head. Yank real good and the cap will come clear. Done this a bunch of times and it never fails
