So after regretting selling my last Kawasaki ZX11 I broke down and purchased another one. It is a '95 with 23,xxx miles.

Brand new Battleaxes front and rear, nice chromed wheels, new chain and sprockets, aftermarket ignition system, muzzy full titanium exhaust, mr turbo oil pan & bypass kit, stainless oil and brake lines, stainless clutch line, lp racing reservior and oil caps, carbon fiber guage cluster cover, corbin seat, manual cam chain tensioner, zero gravity windscreen, rear fender eliminator, and a bunch more. The engine is built with a 1195 big bore kit, muzzy cams, shaved head, high flow oil pump, undercut tranny, etc.

Clear title, never wrecked too. It runs but needs a clutch assy and starter tensioner. There are some minor paint blemishes and the right mirror needs replaced but for $2000 I think I did very well. The frame and swingarm are polished and with a little elbow grease will look awesome. The bike ran a 5.90 in the 1/8th with the previous owner.

I think with a little work I will have a very reliable daily driver/sport tourer/weekend track bike. It should be capable of 2.7-2.9 second 0-60s and top speeds around 200mph. All while getting 30's combined city/highway mpg.

What do you guys think about my new baby?

I heard seats add 25 horsepower.

Who needs a seat anyways? All it does is add unnecessary weight to the bike. Just kidding I had the seat off in the pic, it has a nice Corbin stepped seat that really holds you on there. Which is good cause the bike just wants to throw you off.

Sounds like a nice drag bike. If I got it, I would forgo any handling modifications, drop the front a couple inches, extend the rear end a few more, and probably start looking for a wheelie bar. lol.

The bike is known as the cruise missile. Sweet.

I got the bike all together and ready to go. Have been daily driving it for about 2 weeks now with no issues. Every day I do more work to it and it looks better and better. She still needs some cosmetic tlc but mechanically its 110%. Have gotten the bike up to a gps verified 180mph and she was still pulling hard. Dont worry guys it was in a controlled environment and NOT on any roads. Here are some pics, let me know what you guys think. I am getting the girl ready for an Iron butt bun burner 1500 in the next couple weeks.

One of my all time favourite bikes, but I'll eat my hat if it gets anywhere within 25mph of 200.

You better start eating. A bone stock Zx11 will run 176mph according to all the cycle mags that did reviews on it. So that is 24mph from 200...stock. Also if you noticed in the original post, the engine has quite a few mods done to it. I have personally seen 182mph on my gps so I can assure you it will do at least that. The engine was still pulling very hard, I just ran out of balls. Right now the bike is limited by gearing to about 205mph. I do not plan on seeing if it will go that fast though as there really isnt anywhere around here to top it out.

Check out this article if you dont believe the stock 176mph speed:

To each his own I guess. I dont particularly care for them but theyve never bothered me enough to remove them. The factory emblems on the other hand are horrendous. When I am out riding the bike I usually dont go slow enough for anyone to read them anyways. They do get a good view of my tail light as I go flying past them though.
