Hi everyone. My name is Kevin and I am from Macomb, MI. I am still trying to get the hang of this forum. I am on several other Yamaha sites.(same user name)

When I was 19, I bought my dad's 1982 Midnight Maxim. It was a great bike, and I loved it. I ended up selling it after a year because I moved out of town and the place I stayed at wouldn't allow bikes. I see it once in a while up in Gaylord when I visit. It is still running around. Since then, I have had several dirt bikes - all Yamaha, and Harley & Moto Guzzi street bikes. Now that I am 'not real young' any more,(I don't use the "O" word) I am looking for a new bike to use for pleasure, work, & school - I travel about 100 miles per day and gas is killing me. The wife wants a Harley, but I don't have that kind of money. I found a cheap '83 Seca I will be picking up tomorrow. I will have all winter to trick it out. I am going to be looking for a set of flat-slide mikuni's for it, and exhaust, & fairing with lowers. I like the looks of the fairing on the Seca II's. I also hope to black out the engine and lower the seat a bit like on the Maxims. I'm not sure if I can do that yet or not. I will see this winter.

    Nice meeting everyone,

    Kevin B.

1983 750 Seca... hopefully very soon
