1981 Yamaha seca 750 for parts (has blown motor) no reg

This one is for parts, a rod went through the case, engine is done, will bust it down for any useable parts if anyone needs anything from the engine, rest of bike is in pretty good overall condition. was a running bike until motor grenaded itself. Did the 81's do that cable-to-brake-master-cylinder thing? I want a bar mounted master cylinder, brake handle, and new control switch for the right side... but if the 81s were mounted like the 82s with the MC on the fork down below, then disregard this. Thanks!

 

ALL the seca"s mount under and behind the HUD................but if u had SEARCHED it out maybe u woulda found it out. Only the maxims have the side M/C with a visible glass and easy access.

Only the 750 Seca has the remote M/C; the 550, 650 and 900 Secas have handlebar-mounted M/Cs as well.

I broke down this bike to ites basic parts, 4 nice carb intake boots, as new, no cracks,etc,. carbs are in excellent condition, clean, bolt on good to go, left and right handlbar controls work, but show there age, tank was coated inside, but appears to have been done right, one left plastic sidecover, tail section in pretty good shape, brake assembly in fork area is in working order,wiring harness in good shape, lots of good parts on this one, please use private message system, will get back to you or call 250 495 3445, pacific me, please no calls after 9pm thanx andreas

Please note I do not have a digital camera, and i do not plan on buying a digital camera. No pictures,. We all know our own bikes quite well. The part i have will look like yours. I ship decent used parts, junk goes into the scrap pile. I will not ship anything I do not believe is working or in good order. I check what gets shipped personally,. Refund if not happy period. Here it is : working pair of carbs from the xj750 is $200 shipped,these are bolt on good to go carbs, clean,etc, previous owner took care of this bike,I take alot of bikes apart, i know what worn out carbs look like, these are nice carbs, thats a fair price, carb boots are brand new, were just put on this bike, the bill from the yama robber is still with the bike, $50 for all four shipped. I cannot provide picture but my word should be enough. Good grief, I need to defend myself here. Joshua you must be young and impatient. You expect instant response. I am a Canadian, we celebrate easter this weekend, I attended a family function all day saturday and returned home today at 3 pm pacific. I do not travel with a cell phone,blackberry or ipod, laptop, etc, when I am not home, I have an answering machine, I check my computer when i get home,. I have a job that requires alot of attention, the bike parts gets some time I have left. Please do not assume everyone is dishonest. I do not live in front of my computer,, check it once or twice a day. .. sorry, way i do it. If I said I am willing to send parts I will. Hello, has time to tear motor down to basic parts today, : 3 pistons with connecting rods and rings,middle drive parts, all the trans related parts, altinater,clutch assembly, pickup coil assembly,oil pan, oil pump,trans cover, clutch cover,engine sidecovers, cylinder head(cams are slightly scored) , sensors etc,crankshaft damaged, cylinder jugs damaged,one connecting rod had a bad day, good cam chain.,primary chain, etc, if you need any parts let me know by private message, thanx andreas

 

also had a fork brace tube style 4 mounts and some kind of stabilizer that mounted from frame to forks with a shock like arm that was adjustable, could only turn handlbars so far before it stopped and an oil cooler which includes plate,bolt,cooler part, lines were junked so you will need your own new lines, need anything send me an e-mail or call 250 495 3445, no calls after 9pm pacific please, thanx andreas

 

Not that he needs the rep but... I 've bought a bunch of XS11 parts from Andreas. They have come at a fair price shipped and been in good usable condition. Pretty quick about shipping also.
