    This has happened twice now...

Last month, finished a ride, pulled up to the garage, turned the bike off. Got off, came back to move the bike into the garage. Turned the key...nothing. No electric. Nothing. No lights. Nothing. Scratched my head for a few. Kept trying the key, on and off. Finally worked after a few attempts. Weird.

Yesterday, same deal. But this time, the bike was still in a "coma" an hour after stopping. No electric. Turning the key did nothing. So, I just parked it. (I store the bike during the week.)

The battery is new. Fully charged. Never any other problem all summer.

What do you guys think? Ignition switch??? I am afraid of getting stranded somewhere.

You might want to open the kill switch and se if it needs cleaning.

You need to clean up oxidation on the contacts.

Also, make sure the little solder pools are intact. I had a separated one on my XS, that I could not see until I took the kill switch out to inspect it.
