xj rear brakes

    have a 1980 xj & wondering if a disc brake rear wheel could be fitted as drum brake doesnt work real well ,maybe a xj900 setup ,anybody done this before

    This question pops up on a regular basis.
    Do a little searching and you will find the threads.
    The short answer is NO.
    If you have lots of money and time on your hands, you could conceivably do it but it would be way easier and a cleaner build if you just bought the 900 and got it over and done with.

    You could scuff the pads with sandpaper to remove the glazing. Check the pads for delimitation.
