I do not feel the same heat in #3 as the rest of cylinders!!

    Hey guy's my number 3 cylinder does not get as hot as the other cylinders . It gets just as hot when I come back from a longer ride any ideas guys.

    I'm no wizard...

    ... but you're probably not firing on that cylinder. Does the bike have lots of power? Check to see if the third cylinder is getting spark. If it is perhaps you have a compression problem.

    Well spark seems to be good and I can hit 170 kph +- 100mph and this with 2 people. I did put a splicer on that spark plug wire since and does seem to be warming up more but not as much as the other ones.

    Going by the information from the gurus on other threads, is it possible you're running rich on #3 (which would run colder), but at higher RPMs, you're running leaner (thus making it hotter)?

    Compression test was done this summer while having carbs redone and all 4 cylinders were good

    Thanks guys!!! And Nurse maybe thats why I hit a plateau at 180 kph I cant seem to get it over that speed and again 2 people on the bike.

    Pull the plugs, tell us how they look. If you want, take a picture with all 4 plugs marked by cylinder number and we should be able to help with tuning issues.
