"Clean Carbs..."

    The pics here are from the carbs I cleaned recently. Notice the rust powder that made it through the petcock sock and my inline filter.

    Now, this was from my red tank, that has rust in it, audible rust nuggets!

    The new tank is coated inside, and there is no rust residue.

    Since I have a MAC 4 into 2 and the Dynatek coils, I moved up one size on the main jets, and since I was having such a hard time when Rosie is cold and at low RPMs, I went up one size on the pilot jets.

    Mains are now #112s and the pilots are now #41s.

    After a Colortune and Carbtune, Rosie, runs better than she did when she was new.

    I was at 70MPH, and asked her to do 85, and she obliged with a quick twist of the throttle, even with my fat-a$$ on her!

    I think SWMBO will be happy to ride her tomorrow!
