So I'm about to buy a new speedo and tach to get rid of the cheese block on my seca 750. I've got a few questions, as I'd like to get this done quickly, and without having to fabricate any mounts (I have a VERY limited toolset here in WA. wrenches, sockets, soldering gun and heat shrink.)

first, are these correct part numbers for the easiest application (I want to keep a neutral light, signal indicator, and high beam indicator)

    Speedo

    03-0748

    Tach

    03-0732

I'm not sure if the tach on the 750 is ignition pulse or mechanically driven.

Secondly, would the clamps from his site (the more expensive ones) be able to fit the speedo/tach to my bars with stock risers, etc?

Third, I found a thread where someone did this recently with that speedo at the very least (I am presuming the same tach) on a maxim, and while he posted his guesses at color matching the wires, I don't think he ended up posting the right one.

Also, what's the trick to rewiring the signals into series? I'm not familiar with taking two circuits into series, though I have taken a sequential circuit and turned it into a parallel one before for my BMW's brake light (converted into LED)

Are the lights just signal based from a relay, or are they part of the actual sequence in the circuit? (i.e. does the high beam switch activate the high beam, which then lights the bulb? or is the light in part of the high beam's actual circuit from the switch itself.)

so it looks like the tach is electronic?

    I guess that'd be part # 03-0675

Going to dive in and mount my clubmans myself today, never swapped out bars before, so this should be interesting. When I get back from arizona, I'll get my new R6 MC mounted.
