There's a very nice, low mileage (12K) '86 Radian for sale near me. What can you tell me about them?
The bike looks nice and the price seems right.....I just wish I didn't have so many bikes in the garage already!

a guy down the road from me was selling one last year and his take on it was it's a red light rocket, 1-2 shift likes to get the front wheel up if your not ready and it's not a bike to go real far on
i took his word for all that, my impression was, it's small !

Scott they are a small bike, but I haven't found it to be uncomfortable. I am 5'11" 230#'s. It is indeed a quick little bike. Top end is around 125 mph. RPM limited. There are quite a few parts that are interchangeable with the 550 Maxim.

All in all, a good bike. Good enough, in fact, that my brother and I are getting his road worthy again. It sat for 15 years and he got the bug back after I got my Maxim running.

You never said the price, but with 12K on the ticker and good runner, I would say around $1500 is reasonable.

It mated the updated larger and slightly de-tuned chain-driven XJ powerplant with the Maxim 550 frame and a bunch of other bits from the parts room. (The exhaust collector box and #1 and #4 pipes are from the 550 Seca, for instance.) Nice little bike.
