    hi guys,

    got a turbo 650 ignition.
there is 2 wires that arent part of the 2 main big conectors and im not sure what they are.
there is a very short pink one about an inch long with a single female connector on it,

and a black with white stripe with a single connector on it, the same length as the main 2 big connectors.

i have a wiring diagram that was scaned but i cant make out all the colors.

im guessing 1 is for the sidestand (which i dont have as im putting it on a maxim). in this case should it be grounded or left floating.

any help appreciated. ill post a picture.

Black/white stripe is the side stand wire, grounding it would kill the ignition I believe so you might want to just leave it hang......and I think the little pink wire is a test connector for a relay, the fuel pump relay has a little blue one too that doesn't show on the wiring diagram....you put 12+ to the blue female lead and it energizes the fuel pump circuit for troubleshooting purposes. Sorry I can't remember which relay has the pinky, I'd check for ya but my bike's are covered out in the barn at about 25 degrees....Brrrrrr

    thanks so much!

however still no luck getting spark from the new ignition.

is the stator wiring inside the 650 turbo engine the same as the 650 non-turbos?

    hmm....
