Hi Guys just wanted to introduce myself, and say hello to everybody. I have been riding for more than 40 years and am on my third Seca 750. I love these bikes. I am also lucky enough to also own a super nice `86 FJ1200, a yellow and black FZ1 `03, and a sweet `01 Kawa Zrx1200. All nice standard style bikes...well maybe the Fj is more of a sports tourer. I really like Yamahas above all else, and must have owned 40 plus +++ of them since the late 60`s. I live in Boston, having moved here from Ireland in 1993. I still spend the winters over there and enjoy the mild climate. I am planning to ship my FJ over there next month. The current Seca, i bought last year from a guy in NJ. Very nice original condition, pipes and all. Red in color, and has about 21000 miles. Really no issues with it. I have a good friend who is a terrific mechanic. He takes care of everything. This is a terrific all round motorcycle. :D

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I will be glad to give y`all some updates from across the pond when i get home. As you are probably aware, the bike scene is quite different over there. Like as in, bikes are much more accepted universally, and a lot of them are used as daily transports, not just weekend use. More emphasis on sport tourers, big Trailies and crotch rockets, as opposed to cruisers. Not too many hardleys about. Lane splitting is pretty much allowed everywhere, which is a very nice change from most of the US. Less road rage too, from the cagers. Boston, where i live, is a horrible place to ride in heavy traffic. The cagers dont care a whit, and they are using cellphones 24/7. I was glad to see Calif banning them for handheld use recently.

    Welcome to the board!!

What's your thoughts on the ZRX 1200?? I've always liked the look and feel of that bike, but haven't ever ridden one.

Its a great bike, no question. I was totally taken by its macho looks, ( green/white purple ) history, sound and general street useabilty. A superbike for the real world. Memories of the great Eddie Lawson, for those that remember. I have had this bike for 4 years now and it worked flawlessly. Super torquey motor means you never have to rev it to make rapid progress. Very fast at the top end, mind !!! Smooth motor and very good general handling. Brakes are good as well. Unlike the Seca !!!! Very comfortable riding position for most normal street riding. There is nothing that sounds as good as a stock Kawasaki. Comparing stock to stock. Its a combo of exhaust and airbox noise. Sounds like a hot rod. I just love UJM`s. :D
