hello everyone, im in need of a new winter project, my maxim is done and gifted to my dad, my cx500 has been repaired and sold, and my police bike is just too fun to tear down without another to take its place for the period of time it would take to restore.

so here it is, looking for an early 80s seca in restorable(maybe even running) condition to keep my hands busy this winter, and to ride next summer while i restore the police bike. i have been looking for a seca for a while, and would love to add it to my list of bikes.

have a few leads on other bikes, but i would really like a seca.

i live near the fort wayne area and would be willing to pick up the bike within about 300 miles.

i dont have a ton of money to invest in the project at the moment, but if i can pick up a decent restorable for under $500 id be in business.

any size engines considered, but would prefer a 550 or 650(750 would be ok too.)

anybody have one laying around send me a pm and i will get back with you(pics are a plus!)

You know the 550s ('81-'83) are 6-speed chain drive YICS bikes and the 650 was a one year (in the USA anyway) non-YICS 5-speed shaftie, right?

protomillenium had both a 550 and a 750 for sale, he's in MI just above the IL/IN line. I don't know whether or not he sold either of them...
