you can just copy and paste the url address like this:
    http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... rt=75.html

or hit the little button above the text window (when you're creating the post) that looks like a winged globe..
in the first popup paste the url address and click ok
the second popup will be the word/s that are used for the link itself..in this case I used "like this" and it made those words the clickable link...

click on preview or postreply first so you are at the page that shows that icon. You will not see it at the bottom of the forum page if you just do a "Quick Reply"

Bushy...not to totally confuse you but there is a way to link images so they show up in the posted thread (the window you're looking at now.)
When you want to reply to a post, click the "preview' button at the bottom of the page (next to the 'submit' button. That will take you to a different screen where all these options are visible. To put a photo in the thread you are typing , click on the icon on the lower row, all the way to the left . These are the icon buttons that are right above the text window where you're typing. That lower/far left icon is the image icon. Copy and paste the url address of your pic in the little popup window and click ok
When you are in this reply wndow (where you are typing you're text) you can always hit 'preview' at the bottom of the page to see what it will look like when it's posted. I used the above process to post your pic here...

No I don't know anything about it, just thought it was a curiosity, I found the pic thru Stumbleupon. Tho I think it was his version of an existing bike, unique. Have tried the image location, couldn't find any info, but as you have noticed I'm not good with the technology.
