I do not have crash bars and can't seem to locate any.
I would like to put on some Highway pegs and can't seem to find anything that will work.
Anybody have any ideas on how to help me out ?
    Thanks
    Brian

If you do find crash bars, be careful of the highway pegs. Lean to low and the pegs could scrub the ground and you could lose control. This happened to someone I know.

go to the local (or distant ) bone yard'
if you look around long enough you can fabricate
a set that will look/work just fine.
dont forget swapmeets and garage sales, i got my pegs
for $1.00 that way and they looked new!

Any local motorcycle shop or salvage yard should have pegs that you can buy. Then all you have to do is mount them. You should also be able to make a bracket from basic parts that you can buy from a hardware store. I would suggest not going with the crash guards because of the possibility of catching on the ground. Also, make sure your pegs have the ability to fold up so you can get them out of the way when your not using them.

    Good Luck.

    Thanks for all the information.
I have found a pair at Rivco that makes extenders to put the pegs out past the engine.
Think I am going to order and give them a try.
Again Thanks for another problem solved on the Forums.
