So when I bought my bike the guy gave me a box of extra parts. All he knew about some of them was they were from metric bikes. The question I have is about two carbs that came in the box. They are on a rail and I'm guessing belong on a V-Twin. The only things I can see on the carbs is that they are Keihins and they have the numbers 1241 and SC11 on the carb body right above the bowl. Any knowledge about these would be great. I'm going to sell them and need to get an idea what they might be worth.

If they are on a rail and they are parralell to each other they probably are not from a v-twin. If they are on a rail and are slanted from each other they may be from a v-twin. As far as the price goes if they are in working order they are most likely worth between $100-$200 for the set. A new carb like that usaully goes for anything between $200-$300 a piece. If you cannot post a pic of the carbs in the thread post them in your gallery to give us a better understanding of what we are talking about.

Not a v-twin. parralell twin. They look like they are in great shape. Definitly worth $100-$200 if they are in working order.

Talked to a motorcycle tech. Keihins are the carbs that are mostly on Honda's. Just a shot in the dark but I am thinking these carbs came off of a 450 nighthawk.
