I have a 1982 xj 650 seca that I used for a few parts for my maxim. The motor is seized but there are lots of other items to be salvaged off of it. If there's anything you want from it let me know and I'll tell you if I still have it. Free if you come get it, otherwise just pay a minimal shipping charge. I just want to get this stuff out of my garage.

I also have the Haynes manual for this bike; covers 1980-1984 Yamaha XJ650 and 750 models http://www.haynes.com/products/productID/389 ($25 including shipping within the US)

I would be interested in the fender, gas tank and carb boots.

If you have it, I'd take the ignition

If you still have the original 8" headlight bucket/rim and possibly the mounting bracket I could certainly use them.

Hey, whats up? I'm rebuilding an '81 yamaha seca 650. As i am doing so on a very limited budget, I could use any such assistance in doing so. I am sure I could put any of the following parts to good and immediate use: coils and plug wires, plastic side covers, starter solenoid, twist throttle and start button assemblely, front brake assemblely. Thats all I have found as I have just taken on the project in the last month. Again, any assisstance would be much appreciated. I not sure exactly how we will go about getting in contact to figure out details but I am game for whatever. Thanks very much.

I'm curious if the handlebars and forks, if they are in good condition. Would fit on my 85 700 Maxim?

Do these have the same carbs as the Maxim? If so I'd be interested.
