I'm at the other end of my winter project. Might be a late spring.

    OK, let's try that again.

I guess it's not going to let me add pictures today. Anyway it's an 81 Honda CM400T which currently takes up about 40 square feet of shop space.

Me and a buddy of mine are rebuilding his 650LJ Turbo...
Right now it's stripped down to frame, engine and wheels.

So far, we have rebuilt the carbs, tore off the old wiring harness (what a nightmare!), tore the turbo apart (bearings and the intake-side impeller are toast).

Still lots of work to do...

    FIRST PRIORITY:

    Norton needs some work:

    -carb overhaul
    -new air filter
    -valve adjust
    -new timing chain
    -oil seal(s) in timing cover
-new auto advance unit, new points
-pull primary side apart and clean everything (clutch feels gummed up.)

Once it's all done and 100% ready to rock-n-roll come spring; then I tear into:

PROJECT BIKE 1982 Seca 650 with 13K miles and excellent compression, carbs really bad+ whole bike is nasty (but complete.)

Which needs pretty much everything, front to back and top to bottom. (This is the "good" side...)

I get to work on my XJ this winter! Tune engine, valve adjust, carbuerator rebuild, brakes, speedometer nurturing, sparking plugs, and either new or rebuilt ronson rods.

Then I get to do a 'frame off'? restoration including powder coat the frame and paint tank and side covers.

Colors? Dark gray frame and BMW mauve for the painted surfaces.

First finish getting the 750 road ready - carbs, forks, general tune up, some cosmetics.

Then figure out what to do with the 900.

I've got one. I need to take pics sometime in the daylight though. Dark when I leave for work, dark when I come home. :(

I'd like a late 70's two stroker dirtbike to make into a roundy round tracker.

Planning to do the frame swap for a 1999 Suzuki Intruder 1500. Got the frame last spring, found forks last month. Time to start the build.

i love the look of this bike. maybe a bit cramped but the layout looks totally cool...

no projects for the winter. the bikes are all shoehorned into the corner of the garage so i can give my wife her 1/2 back again...

ill need to do the carbs on all of them again in the spring im afraid cause of my negligence. i DO want to get the 750r tins painted but i havent pulled the tail pieces yet...

Maybe someone should pick up the 79 XS750 tripple from me, get it running and get a title for it. all it needs is a tail light lens, battery, carb clean and some tires and alot of TLC . I think the speedo says 24,000 miles. I would like to see it back on the road vs parted out on e-bay.

My winter is warm here in Phoenix. I am still riding to work on my XJ. No time for rebuild projects. I am looking for a good windshield though.
