I've searched 3 different forums and can't find an answer to this question, yet I'm surprised it hasn't been asked: are the dimensions in the YICS schematic linked here good for all YICS engines? If I can build it for only a few bucks then I'll just make it, but I want to be sure it works on the 750s. If all the YICS engines were 4 cylinders I can see the spacing in the intake being the same but I think Yamaha made a 3 cylinder with YICS, didn't they?

Wish me luck on my carb rebuild/sync.

I used the same tool for my 550 and for my 650... and if you can't find it, I can send you a link on how to make one. But the 550 and 650 were the same... never used it on the 750 but had bought it with the carbs freshly done...

It's all the same- - all good. Except the 400 2 CYl is inaccessible, the V2 Vision is different, and the early Venture also had YICS.

Anyone on a tight budget can stuff it with oily rags for your first sync. You're supposed to clean the port anyway before installing the tool.
