Any of you know if i can fit a ZX10R 2004 front brake master cylinder instead of the stock XJ650 Seca 1982, without changing the calipers?

I have the zx10r master cylinder but i couldn't find any info on it's bore or on the master cylinder bore of a Seca 650.
Also i have no access to a good machinist shop to adapt other brake disks or calipers, and i wanted to upgrade my front brake using the zx10r master cylinder, SS brake lines and some good pads.

    Help will be appreciated :D :) ,
    Bogdan

Yes you can fit the ZX10 MC to your bike. Is your XJ a single disc front? If so, it will pull up very fast with the new MC and braided lines.

It's a double disk. Would that be a problem?

It may be - I tried to put an R1 MC on my XJ750 (thinking they're both dual disc and so should be OK), but the R1 was a 14mm MC which was not big enough for the XJ calipers (the lever came back to the bars)

There should be a stamp on the MC with the bore size (14, 16 or 5/8). You'll probably need a 16mm MC to work the XJ calipers effectively.
