    New Custom Paint - Radian Fuel Tank with Locking Fuel Door; has 2 keys.
    Very nice and sharp looking oem set.

    Includes: Hard-to-find semi-polished & clean oem Locking Fuel Door, Custom brand new keys (try pricing them) operates 100%, correct style oem Fuel Tap (will need new seals). Uses same frame mounts as a XJ550 Maxim.

    it lookes a bit "orange peeled" in part of the reflected area and rather "flatish"in others.

    was this done in a shop?

    maybe the photo is of poor quality but it looks like a fantastic
    rattle can job as opposed to a prof shop job.

    of cource my eyes are getting very old and even these glasses
    only help so much.

    Pic taken in mid-stage.
    Camera isn't that great on quality either.
    Polished and buffed after 2000 wet n dry.
    It now has smooth "wet" look high gloss.

    I want to install a tank like that... that shape and style on my xj550 maxim. Is there aftermarket tanks like that or a way to fit something like that on mine?

    chuckles_no > Tank is a bolt-on in Max oem location, you will need a Radian seat or add a Cafe seat like some guys do. Tank looks badass on a Maxim.
    I have a complete Flame Embossed oem Radian Seat Assembly for only $89 + s/h that's a bolt-on deal to complete the Road Warrior Look.

    (petcock needs new rubber)

    oem tab in front and fitted L shaped aluminum brackets in seat recesses onto the side frame rails. Looks like a factory install.

    Tank's in Tucson 85705 ... still available.

    For $129 you get the whole shebang; tank, locking fuel door, 2 keys, oem petcock [will need seals]. If getting a PayPal pmt. tank ships within 48 hrs via UPS Ground with Tracking Number [no Sundays]. Shipping is a separate fee for this price - though its not a heavy item.
