    I just bought a 1982 xj650 maxim, it is however, missing its sidecovers and tank badges, I am willing to pay fair market value for these items, I need them to complete the bike! Any help would be great,

    search around on fleabay, am pretty sure these items come up pretty regular. should be able to pick-em up for cheap, its the shipping that hits you in the wallett!!

    New emblems can still be bought at the dealer for $26.00 each.
    Ebay is still your best bet for the side covers.

    Those covers don't look like they would replace the ones on my 82 650 Maxim. Are you guys sure the ones from the 750s fit?
