Not only because I start a new job transporting cars next month, but I got talking about classic cars n bikes and the dealers i'll be working for have offered me a section of their vast, underused workshop to store the XJ and carry out any maintenance. Oh the bliss of building an engine without wind and rain! My garage at home is so full of car that I have to keep the XJ outside (undercover of course).

My garage at home is so full of motorcycles that I have to keep Das Auto outside.

    You needs to re-prioritize!

That is good news though; I only wish my garage were bigger (but not for cars...)

are you going to be driving a big truck to transport cars, or a pick-up and trailer?

Problem is, the car is an old Ford, at the slightest hint of rain it rusts some more.

Will be driving a Ford Transit chassis cab with a recovery bed fitted, will only transport one car at a time, any bigger and i'd need a different licence.

Please post pics of garage with room to park cars in it. I thought these were only a myth.

Warning: Do not let my wife know this is actually possible!

I feel your pain! I can hardly walk through my garage sometimes without getting jabbed in the ribs by a Yamaha. I'm sure they snicker when I leave.

    "Ow, bastage, stay put!!"

I must be taller than you; the turnsignals catch me a bit south of the ribs, if you catch my drift.

Beyond that it's not painful at all.
