Preping Headers for ceramic paint

    I have crome headers that have some surface rust and pitting. I know the crome needs to come off. What is the best way to do this.

    My experience with car headers was sandblasting worked really well. or man it out with sand paper

    Barter.
    You offer to go and get stuff, do coffee runs, keep the place neat and clean while you are there, .... for

    An Air-line off the Shops Compressor, use of a Dual-Action Sander and some Stik-on Sanding Discs.
    Strip with 220 or 320
    Prep with 400 and 600.
