Maim X rim on a regular Maxim

    It is probably obvious but will a rear rim off of a Maxim X 700 fit on a Maxim 700N? I hope so because I just bought one. :roll:

    haha. ya it should, if a virago rim will fit then i dont see why the x wont.. I have an airhead too, but ya, I'm pretty sure it will

    I would be inclined to believe that it would be a direct swap. I put a Maxim X wheel on a 650 Maxim. Direct swap for the 650 to 700 application,given you also have the X brake backing plate and internal brake components. Or just leave the brake guts out,and go Flintstone.

    I was also thinking of relpacing the front tire with one off a FZX750 Fazer. For that polished rim look. I seen one on ebay and liked the look. I think with the Maxim X rear tire and the Fazer front tire would be a nice custom look.
