Well I usually put away my bikes late November depending on snow. So it is a long winter but the upside is good snow for snowboarding another passion of mine. So bikes sleep from november till April pretty much.

Winter is the time to tear into your bike and do those repairs/ehancements that will result in the bike being down for a while. I just wish my garage was warmer, it runs in the 30's in the winter.

What if you live where there is no winter?

I feel my instinct just took over when I thought "winter" should start as I've been tearing in to the bike and missing plenty of 60 degree days to ride.

You snickerpuss :p My dad lived in Gilbert and used to call me here in wisconsin to brag about how nice the weather was. Ha. I stayed the month of november there with him in 2007 and didn't want to leave. not only is the weather great but its like a paradise out there. If a person has never been to the desert, Gilbert is not what they would expect.
I am from the high desert in california (Victorville) and miss it like crazy. My lady and I are moving back there in the next couple years. Lancaster or Palmdale this time.

We got 16-18" last night. And that's just since I shoveled at 7pm. I shoveled 4-5" at that time. I suppose I should go fire up the snowblower, no way I'm shoveling this mess! Unless of course the 'blower doesn't start. :p

    Uhh, i hate zip files...

my camera used to be nice and let me open a folder to view the files, but not i upload them in zip files, right click those and hit extract, I think... then they're normal files. Then i upload them with photobucket. and direct link..

i dont know computers, describing how to use them is even worse

When I try do upload the regular files it tells me the size should be smaller then 500 by 500 and that's why I had to zip them.

I'm not unloading the pictures through xjbikes. i'm using a separate hosting sight that stores the memory, then xjbikes just goes to that site and shows the picture, kind of like photobucket is the pc tower and xjbikes is the computer screen

    Got it Schooter!!!!
Btw tires are great on the hwy at higher speeds specially for changing lanes but at a dead stop they are just ok for take off, asymetrical thread pattern good but better for awd cars

Yeah, I've wanted to move to the great white north for the last
    20yrs or so.
But the sun only takes a peek over the horizon this time of year.
And I Need To Ride

I just went out today and checked on my baby in the shed. She is sound asleep. I really wish i could ride right now but since its winter i have other things to occupy me. I have perfected donuts, brodies, and all other manners of winter activities with my front wheel drive car. Real driving pros dont use the e-brake at all. lol. So as long as there is snow, or its not to cold to ride i am a happy camper. ;) God bless pontiac Grand Prixs!

I usually like to rub it in about how nice it is to live in Florida durring the winter.. This year, check that. it's been low of 22 and highs in the 40's. Should break 50 tomorrow and wouldn't you know it... rain. I now know the value of winter gear and have a new respect for your polar bear riders.
